The 'Criminalization' of Existence, Written by: John Carnagey

Man is freely born, and man will freely die. No man could stop these truths anymore than he could prevent that of his own creation. It is only the series of moments in between birth and death, that forces far beyond his control will infringe upon his natural freedom and that of his inalienable and self apparent right to free will. From the moment man draws his first breath, he breaths the air of lands ruled by organized groupings of men which we have come to know and collectively call 'government'. Governments issue their edicts, rules, and laws that by their very nature impinge upon mans natural freedom and negate his liberty. These laws are enacted at the detriment or benefit of the ruled populace. This is the underlying nature of any government, which can only ever be but a collection of recorded laws, that outside of the ink they are written in, are nothing more then commonly held ideas and notions shared amongst men. When these laws and edicts are rendered and enacted upon the mass's of men that would dwell within the government drawn lines in the sand, these governments will inevitably be met with the reactionary tides of men who use their free will and freedom to do what has been determined as 'that' that shall not be done according to written law. When man is confronted with these laws, the truth always remains that 'that' which 'can't' be done, in truth 'can' be done, only now carrying government imposed consequences. For we are truly now in this moment and every here after free to choose our own actions. Governments do not, and can not take away this free will, they can only punish the actions of this free will.
With the nature of free will in mind, would it not constitute an open act of tyranny for a governing body to issue laws prohibiting involuntary acts of the human body? Involuntary acts that no amount of free will could ever stop. A sane man would declare it a fools errand to create and believe that any body of men could realistically and effectively enforce such laws that would declare involuntary behaviors such as blinking, breathing, sneezing or coughing illegal. This expanding list of functions man has no control over would no doubt continue to bring ones awareness to the absurdity of enacting such misguided laws against them. However, this list of involuntary function’s would inevitably bring us to a behavior that some governments have attempted to make completely illegal. This involuntary behavior is called sleeping, and if it takes place in 'public' it is known as homelessness, at least in the west. It should also be emphasized that in the west a man who is awake and walking on public property would not be bothered, it is only when he stops to rest or sleep in that exact same public spot that governments will label him as a homeless nuisance.
Mind you that words and concepts like 'public' are in the vernacular of the common westerner because of the inherent dual nature it shares with the western concept of 'private property'. While the idea that land can be owned is currently the dominating belief being held in North America, this was not always the case or the dominate belief of its native inhabitants who had in their social models no concepts of private property. Their beliefs held no possibility for a man to ever realistically entertain 'owning' any portion of this earth, the home we all share. Unlike today, in Native American social models owning property was not the prerequisite of 'lawful' sleep.
For in all reality how can a man ever truly be in a state of legitimate homelessness if he still feels the gravity of the one home (or place of dwelling) that refuses to let him go, Earth. All the children of the Earth have been embraced and reside upon her vast and expansive surface, our shared home. For this planet in which we could truly not live without, has provided all with humbled eyes to see it, the essential elements we need to survive. For not only has it given us a home to dwell upon it has provided us with luscious gardens that can feed ones body, she has given us mighty rivers to rehydrate our earthly vessels. She is truly a home that when seen in the proper perspective is an amazing self sustaining machine that has a balance and equilibrium that will be the victor every time it is challenged. The laws of nature are eternal, the motions set fourth are ever present. We will have everything we will ever need so long as our ways are found within the harmony of her rhythms. Every effect is proceeded by its cause, and destructive causes to our earth will only reap disastrous effects upon the future and the environment that we all must share. Such misguided methods do not share the eternal nature of universal law.
A worldly system based on compassion and logic must be the never ending goal of society. For if we are too rigid to embrace change then the passage of time will surely snap the brittle nature of our complacency without hesitation or pause. Man has the inherent right to exist, despite the attempts of governments to criminalize the basic human prerequisites of existence. Existence has its needs, and those who seek to negate these inherent needs ultimately render punishment upon those whose only crime has been existing. An existence outside of what governments have planned for your role and function to be in their ideas of what society should entail and exclude.
One must logically evaluate the heart of this issue. Is mankind permitted to exist on his own home planet, and if so what does this existence entail? Does not his mere presence on the earths surface constitute the creators will for him to exist? Is not his every breath a living demonstration of the creators will for him to be but another note in the expansive symphony of existence we have called the universe?
If you were told you must pay a man to breathe the air most would laugh at such a notion, yet we live in a time where men believe that a man could own the ground beneath his feet.
Life has been freely given to all the conscious beings of the earth, and what would that life be without the free will it operates upon. If a man wishes to entertain external endeavors, he is endowed with the free will to choose so. However, some baseline must be established for the foundational rights of any living entity who wishes nothing other then to freely exercise his inherent right to exist. For if man is denied his basic right 'to be' he is a slave beyond measure ensnared in an unjust bondage.

In a system set up to address only a 'potential' of society in the form of monetary gain there is no safety net to adequately serve and provide for the ever present 'realities' of society. Every population will have the handicapped, injured, elderly, and those seeking a simpler life, be it spiritual in nature or principled in nature. Short sighted civil services refuse to address the most fundamental of human needs, food, water and shelter. In today's world, man is denied places to live, they are denied food by their peers, and must work in servitude to gain water.
What we build today is what will be handed down to our children, should we not strive to create a world that will take care of them in our inevitable absence?

The civilizations of the world have risen and fallen like the passage of the tides. The point of this text is to impart the overwhelming necessity for the basic foundational needs of humans to remain ascertainable by the populace of any peoples. Crimes against brothers are committed in higher frequency in countries that do not provide what their populations need. Governments exist to serve the people, not the reversal. If a civilization simply cannot provide these basic needs, the very least they can do is not prevent or stand in the way of their populations from procuring essential needs, by requiring paid permits for camping, fishing, hunting, starting a fire, building a shelter and so on. These require money, and money requires mandatory participation in the systems they have created. This is a veiled form of forced slavery. No man can tell another man that he does not have the right to exist, and governments are nothing other then the representations of men. No one man owns the earth, for it is the possession of all men. A civilization that can not provide for or prevents its populace from freely ascertaining these basic needs from nature commits an act of hypocrisy every time they describe themselves as a civilization, for civilizations embody the principles of civilized men. Barbarically passive social models rendered from the complacent hands of men dressed in fine cloths and seated in lavish palaces do not constitute a civilization just because material luxury is experienced by the few. You are free to exist. Never forget this eternal truth or let anyone tell you otherwise. Fearlessly stand up for those in need and never cease efforts to create a better tomorrow that includes all of mankind as true equals.
